Like a grown-up child whose heart has been broken, Iliona unravels her fears and wounds through her songs. Drawing influences from Françoise Hardy, Lily Allen, Barbara, and even The Beatles, she scribbles down song fragments that she produces, composes, and writes entirely on her own, like little sketches in a personal diary. Her vision extends beyond the notes: from the film "Palo Alto" to the paintings of Egon Schiele, the young artist draws inspiration from various artistic disciplines. Part control freak, part geek, her exacting nature drives her to dissect music, photo, and video software for entire nights until she achieves the desired result. Creating her universe from her bedroom in Brussels, discreetly, her irresistible and intoxicating music strikes right at the heart.
