Produced by Tino Izzo and Marco Falagiani, the album was recorded at Blueroom and Piccolo studios in Montreal and Larione 10 in Italy. Mixed by Richard Rainey (U2-All that you can leave behind, Zucchero-Shake) at Studio Morin Heights and mastered in London by Tim Young (Madonna-Music, George Michael Holder, Massive Attack-Mezzanine), the opus is rich in sounds that borrow from the musical ingenuity of musicians Victor Indrizzo (Daniel Lanois, Beck, Macy Gray) and Marc Lessard (Daniel Bélanger) to name a few. All in all, with this eponymous debut album which lifts the veil on a voice with a unique timbre, Ima hardly hides her penchant for pleasant lyrics, for a musical texture that awakens new feelings. And as we now know she is capable of very pretty things, we are already waiting for the rest...
