Details: Product Description Green Day Amazon.ca Following up the multi-platinum Dookie was no small feat, but the Berkeley trio pulls it off with flying colors. This Insomniac perpetuates the same recipe, cooked up with a mix of light-destroy culture and pop assaults. Closer to the British seventies than their peers in The Offspring, Green Day builds a bridge between the England of the Buzzcocks ("Stuart"), the Ruts ("Brain Stew"), or even the Who ("Panic Song"), and the America of the Ramones or the Real Kids to construct a sparkling, melodic power punk. The included singles, "Armatage Shanks" and "Geek Stink Breath," are pure joys—sweet and tangy—that confirm yet another victory for our Californian urchins. --Jean-Luc Manet
