Jigs and turluted reels are front and center in this tribute to La Bolduc! Five female artists spiritedly perform the repertoire of Quebec’s first great recording star. The eleven humorous songs, sprinkled with expressions of the era, will delight both young and old! Each one tells of the daily lives of people back then: the market, doctors, vacations in the country, and not forgetting the dance parties. The richly illustrated album evokes the spirit of the 20s, its streetcars, and its gramophones. A historical gem that will make every generation dance!
