Details: From the Studio Pablo Sterni, a modest insurance agent, leads a mundane existence with his wife, Brigitte, and their sons. To make ends meet, Pablo swindles Mr. Cannon by leading him to believe that his classic car—which never leaves the garage—is insured, while he pockets the premiums. When the car is stolen and found half-destroyed, the damages amount to over 500,000 francs. For Pablo, it's either find the money or go to jail. His cousin Léon, whom he hasn't seen since childhood, has just inherited over a million, but he has been stuck on acid for thirty years and lives for the cult of Janis Joplin and John Lennon, whom he believes he saw at a concert and who supposedly promised to return. Cornered, Pablo decides to risk it all. If he can convince Léon that Janis and John have returned for him, he will surely be able to get his hands on the money. To play the two idols, Pablo can only count on his wife and a washed-up, unemployed actor, Walter Kingkate. Methodically, he organizes the transformations and refines his plan. Brigitte and Walter soon get caught up in the game. Far from solving the problem, the delusional scheme quickly spirals out of control and drags the trio much further than they had ever imagined...
