Details: To create 'Jazz engagé', a 21-track album produced by Emmanuel Ethier, Chocolat set themselves the challenge of recording in five different studios, each with a different co-producer. With this album, Chocolat presents their own (rock) version of a mixtape, drawing on an countless number of musical references ranging from Dave Brubeck to Pierre Harel, from Serge Fiori to their friends in Corridor, as well as Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and Pat Benatar, without ever deviating from the sonic signature that has characterized them since 'Tss Tss' and 'Rencontrer Looloo'.
