Author: St-Pier, Natasha

Details: Amazon.ca From her modest beginnings in New Brunswick to the album De l'amour le mieux, Natasha St-Pier's career took a prodigious leap in just a few years. Her appearance at the famous Eurovision contest in 2001 confirmed her status as a star on the other side of the Atlantic: she represented France there with the ballad "Je n'ai que mon âme," composed by Robert Goldman. In addition to this track, which earned her the Félix for Song of the Year the following year, this recording—designed for her French fans—includes four songs from her first album, Émergence, recorded at the age of 15. Added to this are four previously unreleased tracks, including an English version of "Je n'ai que mon âme," a dance remix of "Je t'aime encore," a major hit from her second album À chacun son histoire, and "My Heart if You Will Swear," from the musical Notre-Dame de Paris. A compilation with interesting additions that will delight fans. -- Frédéric Boudreault
