Featuring collaborations with some of Quebec and France's most revered artists, producers and composers including: Daniel Bélanger, Biz and Chafiik from Loco Locass, Marc Dupré, Michel Pagliaro and Éric Lapointe. After two triumphant tours (150,000 spectators in Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario) and two best-selling albums (Star Académie 2012 and Star Académie Noël), the big winner of Star Académie 2012 Jean-Marc Couture finally launches his first album alone! A host of the greatest artists from here and from France wanted to contribute to this first opus. Artistic director Stéphane Laporte talks about the all-star team that worked there: “This raw talent inspired Daniel Bélanger who invented for Jean-Marc a funky blues like we had never heard before. Biz and Chafiik, two of the three members of Loco Locass, wrote the alpha male anthem for him. The hit maker Marc Dupré is working again with the ex-academician, this time as a songwriter. Michel Pagliaro and Éric Lapointe, the two indomitable rock artists, each collaborate on a song from the album, while Grégoire adds his talent as a songwriter to that of Jean-Marc as a musician and performer. This first album by Jean-Marc, produced by Tino Izzo, offers rock with blues and pop accents; accents that made Jean-Marc so successful and won him victory at Star Académie 2012 by the public!
