Young Quebec pianist Jean-Michel Dubé continues his recording journey dedicated to composer ANDRÉ MATHIEU, combining his talent with Les Chambristes des Violons du Roy. This is the third album Jean-Michel has devoted to this home-grown composer, and once again, works never before released on record or performed in concert are offered to music lovers. This chamber music, seeing the light of day possibly for the first time, is a very little-known facet of André Mathieu and serves as a wonderful addition to the already significant corpus of Canadian classical music.
