Joey Robin Chopped / Thirty - CD
Originally from Nigadoo in northern New Brunswick, Joey Robin Haché still lives in this region of the Baie des Chaleurs, more precisely in Tétagouche Sud near Bathurst. Since 2012, Joey Robin Haché has taken his place on the Acadian and Canadian music scene. He is crazy, unpredictable, charismatic, energetic, assertive and unifying. He has released two albums, Repaver l'âme (2014) and Stigmates (2016), both from the Acadian label Le grenier musique . He was a finalist at the 47th edition of the Festival international de la chanson de Granby where he won four prizes. At the Francouvertes in 2017, he won the audience price.
In this album, the artist denounces the flaws of the popular music industry which forces us to define ourselves in a precise style and a particular label while becoming an identifiable, safe, easy to sell and manipulate product. With Trente , the artist wants to challenge these conventions and offer a different way of producing an album in 2019.
