An artist originally from France, Jøhan Gass began his musical journey in 2010 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. After releasing his first gypsy-folk album, "Le temps file!" in 2014 and touring Quebec, Jøhan stepped back from the stage to dedicate nearly two years to an animated film project born from his own imagination: Arbre de Vie.

Following this period of introspection and fueled by that project, Jøhan returned to the music scene in 2018 with a new approach filled with strength, imagination, and spirituality. A true heartfelt cry!

With "Libres & Sauvages," his new album, Jøhan invites us to live with a free spirit, closer to our true nature and in harmony with our environment and its magic. The "Libres & Sauvages" music video perfectly captures this free and powerful spirit, carried by a unique musical signature.

With a unique electro-rock-tribal soundscape, a powerful voice, and lyrical, poetic lyrics rich in meaning, Jøhan seeks to convey a universal message through the power of his words and music across 8 songs. An immersion into a strong, deep, and intimate experience!
