Jonathan Personne is the solo project of Jonathan Robert, also a songwriter, composer, and performer for the band Corridor and a visual artist known for his illustrations and animated music videos. His debut album, Histoire Naturelle (2018), made up of a collection of recordings and experiments, revealed tracks at the confluence of desert dream pop, spaghetti rock, and jangle pop.

With Disparitions, Jonathan unveils a more accomplished album without losing his unique signature: relying on the repetition of riffs and orchestral layering to give his songs an epic dimension. Indeed, the cinematic narrative motifs and the Ennio Morricone-esque western rock universe are still very much present.

The result is a substantial record that is more accessible and will, without a shadow of a doubt, reach a wider audience.
