ANNA KARINA rubbed shoulders with the history of international cinema, filming under the direction of Jacques Rivette, Georges Cukor, Dino Brusati, Luchino Visconti, Benoît Jacquot, Michel Deville, Volker Schlondorff, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Raoul Ruiz, Jonathan Demme or Pierre Granier-Deferre. We find here for the first time on CD Angela, with mischievous lyrics by Godard, La vie s. Takes off from a Bassiak barely out of Jules and Jim, Gershwin's The man I love that she sang as a little girl in Copenhagen, and Vivre ensemble, the credits of the film she directed in 1973. And of course, there is also these essential songs by Pierrot le fou, these titles by Gainsbourg never used for Vivre ensemble including La Noyée refused by Yves Montand and popularized by Carla Bruni, as well as some charming and unexpected duets with Claude Brasseur and Jean-Claude Brialy.
