Kery James returns with a new album, Mouhammad Alix! After a career spanning more than twenty years and seven albums under his belt, Kery James has established himself on the French hip-hop scene as a leading figure of "conscious" rap, thanks to his realistic and sincere writing style that addresses societal inequalities.

Three years after his last album and a tour that ended with a sold-out show at Bercy, Kery James is back, and he hasn't cut any corners. Perpetually in search of new sounds and artistic renewal, the rapper once again demonstrates his technique with an undiminished commitment and a grave, heavy tone. "Who claims to rap without taking a stand?" Following his "Lettre à la République," which made waves during the last presidential election campaign, Kery James intends to put the issues back at the center of the debate.

His return to the stage and to records has the urgency of those who choose to step away voluntarily. That his previous albums were certified gold or platinum seems to matter little: what matters for Kery James now is the moment being built from this new beginning!
