Details: Product Description Saian Supa Crew Amazon.ca Six guys from three collectives (Ofx, Simple Spirit, and Explicit Samuraï) pooled their know-how in 1997 to offer their version of hip-hop and shake up the monotonous French productions that had been offered until then. "Hip-hop is spinning so much on itself, it's becoming crazy, out of breath, man move aside I'm suffocating," Feniksi even says on "Malade imaginaire." Could the Saïans simply be a reflection of our recklessness? The entire essence of hip-hop is found on this album, namely musical diversity: rap, ragga on "Raggots," zouk, soul, etc., all performed with humor and a lot of feeling, mixed with a dose of Human Beat Box. Fed up with 93 (Seine-Saint-Denis) rap or its opposite 13 (Bouches-du-Rhône), long live hip-hop for everyone! -- Sébastien Prieto
