Details: Homer, a young dreamer with a passion for mycology and Greek mythology, falls in love with Roxane, a mysterious and distant young woman with whom he has been paired up to sell discount coupon books door to door. He is still secretly brooding over his feelings when a visit to a comedian whose popularity is falling turns tragic: to save Roxane from the latter's threats, Homer knocks her out before fleeing with her. When the body is found dead, the investigation leads the police to the company that hires the two young people, who have since become lovers. Which company is run by Roxane's stepfather, who seems to have a certain hold on the young woman, linked to heavy family secrets on which Homer will try, at the risk of his life, to shed all the light.
