Details: Irena, an immigrant from Ukraine, flees her condition of sex slave to which her clandestine smugglers had reduced her and leaves to melt into the anonymity of a large city in Italy. Curiously well endowed financially, the young woman takes an apartment located opposite that where the Adachers live, a family of jewelers mysteriously linked to her past. In order to get closer to them, Irena gets hired as a janitor in their building, then, after having secretly caused the accident of their housekeeper, imposes herself to replace her. Little by little, the young infiltrator develops very strong ties with little Tea, the Adacher's only daughter. As the child's mother tries to unravel Irena's mystery, her pimp resurfaces.
