The French Detective - DVD

Based on the novel by Gilles Archambault, the film has no other aim than to lead us through the inner journey of a married man in his forties, a father. Through his wife, who is transitioning from marital dependence to independence, and his teenage daughter, who proudly announces she is pregnant and will not be marrying the father, Lamontagne becomes aware of the difficulty of adapting to today's world.
