Details: Chand leaves her beloved family in India to make a new life for herself in Canada. So she settles in the small town of Brampton, Ontario, and marries a man she has never even met, Rocky. But the latter, a violent husband who does not hesitate to beat her, is grappling with serious family problems: a mother who wants to control everything, a confused father and a sister whom he must support with her husband and their two children.
