In an effort to please his disgruntled daughter, he spontaneously agrees to take the family on vacation, little realizing the difficulties that this will wreak. Of course, Jean-Gabriel could always back out. The only problem is a significant one: his wife assures him that she will leave him if he doesn't follow through on their plans. ----- Jean-Gabriel, a married father of three, lives off odd jobs and spends his time at the local horse-betting bar. One day, to please his daughter, he makes a hasty promise to the whole family to take them on a ski vacation. The only problem: this time, if he doesn't keep his promise, his wife will leave him. He will have to use his limitless imagination to pull it off...
