Soundtrack / Life, Life - CD (Used)
Author: Sicard, Luc
Details: Impossible to forget the guitar chords à la The Edge which punctuated the theme of the show La Vie La Vie . Several hundred thousand viewers followed this wonderful series, which featured five endearing thirtysomethings struggling with multiple challenges. In addition to Patrice Sauvé's dynamic production and Stéphane Bourguignon's precise writing, Luc Sicard's soundtrack, practically inseparable from the whole, was one of the essential elements of its success, a rather rare occurrence on television.
Modern rhythms, sometimes vaporous, sometimes electrifying, hold the road quite well without the action that they originally supported. A piece as emotional as "La Vie La Vie", for example, will bring you a few tears. The classic air of "Métro Boulot Boulot" is imbued with urban frenzy, while the soaring "Louise" and "Une Femme" evoke the vertigo of love. It must be said that Sicard was able to count on the warm voice of Jessica Vigneault, the trumpet of Maxime St-Pierre and the samplings of Carl Bastien (who directed Rêver mieux , by Daniel Bélanger). We therefore welcome the release of this soundtrack, which will remind all fans of the series of very beautiful moments. -- Frederic Boudreault
