Details: Amazon.ca The lovely Zazie makes a high-voltage comeback here. Between guitar/bass riffs ("Adam et Yves") and gentle piano ("Sur toi"—hot and cold), the tonal curves of this fourth studio album sound mostly electro-pop. Such are the prospects offered by *La Zizanie* from this *enfant terrible* who, without yielding excessively to commercialism, loves juggling genres and puns: one for all, all rotten... ("La Zizanie"). One thing is for sure, she still doesn't mince her words and unequivocally shares her opinion on everyday life. Concerned without being dismayed, her lyrics tackle life and give pride of place to men and their contradictions ("Danse avec les loops"). Mother of all battles ("Aux armes citoyennes"), Zazie heals wounds with her blue words but doesn't hesitate to deliver cynical outbursts in "Tais-toi et rap" or "Cheese." This album has not finished being heard. --Valérie Dupouy Product Description 2001 studio release from this successful French diva. This is her 3rd release and enjoys award-winning acclaim in Paris.
