Details: After losing her last born during the attack of a black bear, Giju', a female moose, begins the annual mating rite of her species, which should allow her to give birth to a newborn at the course of the following year. With the long months of the icy Gaspésie winter behind her, Giju' gives birth to a healthy male, who will accompany her on each of her trips until the next mating season. So, the young moose will have to abandon his mother and take care of his own survival, until the day when he himself will be able to seduce a female and ensure her offspring.
