BIOGRAPHY
Gérald "Willie" Babineau, nicknamed "Le Begueilleux" (The Stutterer), is very happy to present his first solo album, "Le Begueilleux t'chin bon." Gérald is an Acadian country guitarist and singer from the Moncton area. He was a member of the highly popular band Chiac, which achieved enormous success with the song "Le begueilleux."
The tracks on the album "Le Begueilleux t'chin bon" are original songs with lyrics and music by Gérald Babineau. Musicians David LeBlanc (mandolin), Raymond LeBlanc (bass), and Paul Desprès (stomp box) also contributed to the musical arrangements. After touring with numerous artists, including Cayouche, Laurie LeBlanc, and the bands Chiac, Réveil, and Bluegrass Diamond, he decided to form his own group with local musicians for his brand-new album, "Le Begueilleux tient bon."
