Details: Daniel Grenier leads us down Le chemin des étoiles, his second album. In the spirit of his first record released in 2004, Le Chemin des étoiles is overflowing with love songs. Grenier speaks simply about the beauty of life's little things, and that is what touches us. Accompanied by the friendly Guerriers de la Lumière—Francis Gaulin (drums and percussion), Patrick Gaulin (electric guitar, banjo), Mara Tremblay (bass, violin, mandolin, and vocals)—and guest musicians (Luzio Altobelli on accordion, Ivanhoe Jolicoeur on trumpet, and Dany Provencher on synthesizer), Daniel Grenier wanders through 12 well-crafted, luminous folk-rock tracks. A consistent, warm journey. Daniel also drew all the illustrations for the album cover.
