Also present on the recording: Audrey-Michelle Simard (choir), a string quartet and a brass duo. Francis plays guitar, percussion and vibraphone. These very personal songs by Francis D'Octobre give a glimpse of the maturity of a young man of great sensitivity, gifted for elegant and intoxicating pop writing, carrying melodies that remain in the memory. Of particular note are the songs Toys of War, Ma plenitude, Les commun des immortals and other pretty pieces around love, whether dark or luminous.
