Travel back in time to meet Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky by following Minime, a charming little mouse who is crazy about cheese and music! Sasha and Bobik are impatiently waiting for their favorite uncle to arrive for the holidays. This highly talented musician is not like other adults: every time he visits, he brings them gifts and seems to have all the time in the world for them. Yet, this time, the children will find it hard to hide their disappointment upon receiving a simple music notebook. How could they have known that the new pieces created for them by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky would one day delight children all over the world?

The narrated story, followed by a few biographical notes, includes recordings of "German Song," "Neapolitan Song," "The March of the Wooden Soldiers," "Baba Yaga the Witch," and "Kamarinskaya" from the Album for the Young.
