The Lour Pass by Plume Latraverse, vol. III
Author: Latraverse, Plume
Format: Best of
Release Date: 2004-05-19
Details: Amazon.ca Like the first two volumes of Lour Passé, the third presents a fair mix of known and lesser known pieces by Plume Latraverse. The musical portrait of the poet with raw rhyme spans almost 15 years, but this disc dwells more on certain periods of creation. We are thus entitled to several of his collaborations with Stephen "Cassonade" Faulkner, recorded in the mid-1970s ("Pleine Lune", "La Bienséance"), as well as various songs from the album Insomniferous, released in the mid-1970s. of the 80s. The anthology also includes brief pieces which, in their original album, served specific concepts: restored out of context, these pieces ("French Tour", "2 dogs, 1 bone"...) unfortunately lose much of their interest. The compilation nevertheless remains a must for fans of Plume, especially since it contains some of his greatest classics, notably "Le Rock'n'Roll du grandflank mou" and "Rideau". --Nicolas Houle Product Description Latraverse, Feather
