Details: Legends of a People is a project by singer-songwriter Alexandre Belliard. On disc and on stage are sung the characters who marked, by their courage, their determination, their creativity and their ambition, the History of the French-speaking people of the Americas. Since the creation of Legends of a People by Alexandre Belliard, 55 songs have been recorded and published on 5 separate albums. To highlight this success, Alexandre is now offering a retrospective of his project on a single disc. Directed by Hugo Perreault (Okoumé, Richard Séguin), this anthology presents 15 of the most striking songs from the 5 volumes of Legends of a People. Among these songs, we find the tribute piece to René Lévesque "Something like a great people" on which we can hear the voices of Daniel Boucher and Richard Séguin. The first radio excerpt broadcast since September, the piece Les ignitettières, taken from volume IV of Legends of a people and sung in duet with Salomé Lerclerc, is a poignant and sincere tribute to courage and worker solidarity.
