Viviane, a prodigal child, seeks to reclaim her place in the family she abandoned, just as her mother had done before her. Wounded by the abandonment and absence of their loved ones, her father and younger sister have created a hermetic and troubled world upon which their security rests. By wanting to find a place within it, Viviane will see her own balance waver. A harsh and touching film, shot in the splendid setting of the Île d'Orléans, based on a screenplay by Réjean Ducharme.
