Details: Product Description New 1999 Album From New French Pop/Easy Listening Sensation Katerine. Amazon.ca Les Créatures & L'Homme à 3 mains could pass for a fantasy film or a thriller. Think again. By blurring the tracks, the unfathomable Katerine thumbed his nose at us in a superb way. It is true that his previous efforts had not accustomed us to such a turnaround. So, one must face the facts: this two-volume opus, one orchestrated, hilarious, cynical and punctuated by a "Screw you," does not meet the criteria of the second, which is almost essentially "guitar-driven" and more focused on automatic writing. A series of moods, a collection of instinctive words and sonic (bric)collages, Katerine's minimalist, whimsical and quirky universe illustrates little human habits ("Combien d'homme?", "Le Bonheur"). A bold album that is organized around a spontaneity that is less innocent than it seems. --Valérie Dupouy
