Le poids des confettis is nostalgia for people who never grew up. It’s a couple of garlands from holidays past dragging on the floor, goodbyes that make you cry. It’s flea-market music to listen to curled up in a corner or in your car with the windows down, stories of wasted nights, snowmobiles, and flowery secrets too; of people who are mad, people who are high. It’s bittersweet, it’s a little out of style, but that’s not so bad.
