The weight of confetti is the endless nostalgia of a world that hasn't grown up. It's a couple of garlands from past holidays lying on the ground, bye-byes that make you bawl. It's flea market music to listen to in a ball in a corner or in your chariot in the strong wind, stories of packed evenings, ski-doo and floral secrets too; of shocked people, of high people. It's bittersweet, it's a bit out of fashion but it's not that bad.
