Yvan (Attal himself) is a sports journalist and is not particularly distinguished by his class. He is however married to Charlotte (Gainsbourg), star of the big screen. When she has to go to London to shoot with the attractive John (Terence Stamp), Yvan can't help but let jealousy invade him. Living with an actress, the object of all the attention and all the fantasies, must, of course, pose certain problems, and Yvan Attal skilfully translates these difficulties. But it is above all in the deceptive game between reality and fiction that his work takes on its full meaning, since he and Charlotte Gainsbourg form a couple in life. Having fun with our voyeurism, while keeping a healthy distance from his subject, he also makes his first film a true declaration of love to his wife, his angel-faced actress.
