Composed of four classically trained musicians, the group certainly masters classical tango and the world of Astor Piazzola, but also allows itself repeated incursions into jazz, ragtime, waltz and Celtic music. The album Espresso, unanimously acclaimed by critics, won a Félix award in the World Music category. The quartet's fourth opus, Macadam tango served as the soundtrack for a short film by Lyne Charlebois: very narrative, it literally tells the love story between a man and a woman. Jealousy, heartbreak and intense feelings are present in very explicit titles: “Fatal desire”, “Duel”, “Tristesse d'un tango”. For the occasion, the group has called on Argentinian singer Juan Carlos Caceres, who brings warmth and depth to the ensemble, and Térez Montcalm, whose hoarse and sensual voice lends itself well to the genre.
