BIOGRAPHY
In 2013, Marc LeBlanc (Marc à Paul à Jos) began writing his first album in the unique dialect of the region where he grew up, Baie-Sainte-Marie, in Clare, Nova Scotia. Inspired by nostalgia for his homeland on the other side of the country, all of his songs are true stories, based on personal or family experiences. Marc is encouraged to preserve the stories of the people and events he knows. To his great surprise, his music caught the ear of many people, which encouraged him to write even more. This was followed by three albums: "Le temps des canichules," "La berouette à Mariette," and his most recent, "Le dictionnaire Acajun." Here is a colorful singer-storyteller, an authentic one..
