Marie-Eve Roy presents a second solo album: Multicolore. With a warm and comforting pop sound, this record is that of an artist in full possession of her abilities and creative strength. The singer-songwriter from Granby draws inspiration from those around her and steps into the shoes of creators who have influenced her (Catherine Meurisse, Véronique Sanson, Daniel Johnston, …) for the writing of Multicolore. 

She takes us on a journey through airy soundscapes, where her enveloping voice highlights sensitive and evocative lyrics. The talented musician collaborates with Gus Van Go for the first time since the Vulgaires Machins era. Co-producing with Werner F and Likeminds, the team welcomed Marie-Eve to their New York studio, and the magic happened. Together, they created complex textures and catchy melodies, all while maintaining a certain dose of sweetness and minimalism. 

You can hear hints of Beach House, The XX, a bit of French Chanson, and find yourself carried away by her voice in the foreground. The album cover and photos were created by art director Yola van Leeuwenkamp and painter Sophie Privé. With Multicolore, Marie-Eve Roy gets straight to the point and elegantly establishes herself as a confident, sovereign, and authentic singer-songwriter.
