Following the international success of her previous album Ce soir, l’amour est dans tes yeux, the pressure was enormous for this fourth album. Martine St-Clair loves a challenge and does not rest on her laurels. She produced a more personal album with pop accents punctuated by superb ballads.

With the songs “Danse avec moi”, “Tous les juke-box”, “Au cœur du désert”, “Folle de vous”, “Monte, monte”, and “Comme avant”, she delivered six essential hits and wrote the lyrics for several tracks.

The song “Au cœur du désert”, for which the lyrics were co-written by Martine, would sit at #1 on the charts for 12 weeks.
