The artist from Petit-Rocher, in northern New Brunswick, comes to us with this new album with a slightly more relaxed, spatial atmosphere, without completely abandoning the energy of rock and catchy rhythms. Armageddon is an album about the end of the world. The title, like a large part of the songs, has been running through Matt Boudreau 's head for more than three years. "I was inspired by Boy Pablo, Mac Demarco, Beach House and also, I imagined my house surrounded by the sea a bit like my island of Gilligan in the Acadian version..."

The song Patio describes well the musical style in which the singer migrates from his first record Goéland (2018) to the time of Armageddon , alternative pop. Phrases like "Is it beautiful on your patio" or "I'm going home, tomorrow, in my little iron box" represent this song which has a soft rhythm, a relaxed atmosphere and a catchy melody, as known doing so well the Acadian artist. The record was produced by Matt at his Mouette Sounds Studio in Petit-Rocher. Musicians Benoit Morier and Chloé Breault accompany the singer on Patio.
