Details: Sylvain Lafrance, the current Senior Vice-President of French Services, did everything possible to ensure that the pianist could produce this series of discs. The year 1996 therefore marked Alain Lefèvre's first collaboration with the SRC for the recording at Studio 12 of a first album, Fandango. Three other discs followed, Ballades, Confidences poétiques and Cadenza, all produced between 1996 and 1999, under the direction of Daniel Vachon, a longtime friend of Alain Lefèvre and instigator of the project.
