This anthology of works performed by Monique Leyrac (1928-2019) presents the complete versions of the first two vinyl records of her Columbia discography, Monique Leyrac chante Vigneault et Léveillée (1963) and Pleins feux sur Monique Leyrac (1964). André Gagnon provided the arrangements, orchestrations, and conducting for these albums.

A cornerstone of a rich discography by an interpreter passionately dedicated to our authors and composers, these two records, which were the first serious and essential recordings, are available for the first time in their entirety. Madame Leyrac served the cause of Quebec song, as well as French song and its artisans, for nearly forty years.
