François Pérusse / Motel Pérusse, Volume 8: The People's Album - CD
Author: François Pérusse
Format: Remixes included
Release Date: 21-11-2011
Details: Four years after the release of his last (Volume 7), François Pérusse does it again with the People's Album - Volume 8. The luckiest number among the Chinese and for François, a big number, since he is his eleventh career album (21 years). Himself surprised by this longevity, Pérusse is however more worried than ever. As he says so well: the pressure due to the success of the previous albums keeps the bar high and he has the "tight buttocks"! His unconditional respect for the faithful who have followed him for a long time led him in his decision to keep the same concept of the people's album, a vein that has been very successful for him since 1991. Armed with great rigor in the selection of the best elements of his production over the past four years, he is very happy with the final choice. Fans will find some famous characters including Louis-Paul Fafard-Allard, host at CDKC (community radio) as well as The Guy Who Shops and Mona in a tasty montage. Among the novelties, there is Guy, an organist-lounge bar entertainer, a character in the purest kitsch style, a universe that Pérusse is particularly fond of. He also gives us a special segment of censored capsule extracts that were happily removed and “reintroduced”. Among the major themes that have influenced his writing are the economic situation of recent years and its repercussions on society, as well as new technologies. In music, the singer-songwriter Pérusse has particularly spoiled himself with some unpublished musical fantasies. The songs Bad English, Le monde a des kodaks and La Twittere were composed especially for Volume 8 and have never been broadcast on the radio. Fans will be pampered! The digital age has marked the creation of TOME 8. Aware that consumers can now buy spare parts on the Internet, François has assembled the album in this spirit while preserving a beautiful Always generous, François promises additional content to Volume 8 and accessible on zeromusic.com Buyers can download it after discovering the password recorded on the album.
