Details: "New Religion" is the most competent and powerful Primal Fear album ever! The band improved their sound with a lot of new ideas and a lot of courage, while still sticking to their classic Heavy Metal sound. Primal Fear was formed in 1997 at the initiative of Ralf Scheepers (ex-Gamma Ray singer) and a well-known face in the German metal scene, Mat Sinner. They have produced 6 very successful studio albums so far that have entered the album sales charts across Europe. Epica's lead singer Simone Simons was invited to the studio to sing the first duet in Primal Fear's recording history, the song "Everytime It Rains," which looks to be the next hit in Fear's recording career. Magnus Karlsson of Starbreaker and Allen/Lande is also a special guest, playing guitar solos on 2 songs. Primal Fear has improved their sound to the max, and once again, the orchestral arrangements by Matz Ulmer and Mat Sinner have reached an incredible quality standard. But it is not just this part of Primal Fear's music that sounds reloaded today and more powerful than ever before. Production by Mat Sinner and mix by Ronald Prent (Def Leppard, Manowar, Iron Maiden, etc.).
