Details: A Belge-Francophobe customs officer is forced to team up with a Frenchman during the elimination of the Franco-Belge borders in the 90s.-----January 1, 1993: passage to Europe. Two customs officers, one Belgian, the other French, learn of the imminent disappearance of their border post located in the town of Courquain France and Koorkin Belgium. A Francophobe from father to son and an overzealous Belgian customs officer, Ruben Vandevoorde (Benoît Poelvoorde) finds himself constrained and forced to inaugurate the first joint Franco-Belgian flying brigade. His French colleague, Mathias Ducatel (Dany Boon), considered by Ruben as his lifelong enemy, is secretly in love with his sister. He surprises everyone by agreeing to become Vandevoorde's teammate and travel with him on the border country roads aboard a 4L interception of international customs.
