That is, until Irène, an intern at the company where he found a job as a photocopier clerk, falls in love with him. While amnesiacs are popular characters in cinema (Memento, The Bourne Identity, Paycheck...), Jean-Pierre Limosin nonetheless innovates by borrowing from both the stylistic experimentations of the French New Wave and the mannerism of a De Palma. His Novo continues to fascinate with an atmosphere that is as erotic as it is paranoid, managing to skillfully preserve its mysteries. Despite dialogue that is sometimes over-written and a narrative that is occasionally obscure, the more than charming Eduardo Noriega (The Devil's Backbone, Open Your Eyes) and Anna Mouglalis (Nightcap, La Vie Nouvelle) interpret with freshness this couple of lovers trying to build a story without a past.
