Now and Again has an organic feel best expressed in the achingly mournful "All the Things I Wasn't" and the quiet melancholy of "...But I Guess We'll Never Know." In fact, acoustic guitars are favored throughout the 12 tracks, complemented by tasteful piano, cello, pedal steel, and strings.
