Details: Brampton, Ontario native, Emilio Fina appeared on Canada's Got Talent and quickly won the hearts of viewers across the country with his mesmerizing voice and touching story. Emilio Fina made his stage debut at the age of 13, cast in the title role of Gian-Carlo Menotti's popular Christmas opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors for Opera Mississauga. At the age of 18, he was accepted into the Royal Conservatory of Music Professional School (now The Glenn Gould School) where he was mentored by Canadian Tenor Glyn Evans. For the past 15 years, Emilio has worked as part of the ground crew at Toronto Pearson International Airport, while continuing to pursue his love of singing and performing. He is the Founding Director of two local opera companies- Brampton Lyric Opera and Opera Kitchener- which are a part of his bigger dream to make operatic music accessible to a broader audience. Emilio's debut album, O Sole Mio, released on June 18, 2013 by Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc. features a selection of works from theater to opera to classics, which reflect the scope of Emilio's Talent as well as his compelling personality.
