Details: The "Ode à l’Acadie" show was created in 2004 by the Festival acadien de Caraquet to mark the 400th anniversary of Acadia. The show was so successful (nearly 100 performances in six months in Caraquet and Moncton) that it was decided to produce a CD. Both the show and the record pay tribute to Acadian musical artists. The disc features 14 songs taken from the show and performed by seven talented young multi-instrumentalist artists. The album was produced by Isabelle Thériault. Alain Leblanc, the mastermind behind Jean-Pierre Ferland’s albums, served as production consultant.
