Noir Desir / One Trip, One Noise - CD (Used)
Author: Noir Desir
Release Date: 23-02-1999
Details: Amazon.ca Ten years after Where do you want me to look, a mini album produced by Théo Hakola then at the helm of Passion Fodder, Noir Des' has become a legend. Led by Bertrand Cantat, worthy heir of Jeffrey Lee Pierce (singer inhabited by the late Gun Club), the group is today respected for its integrity and its refusal of any compromise. These arrangements, which halo each of their songs with an exacerbated lyricism, did not, however, affect their desire for adventure. Thus, when a stranger located in Belgrade sends them the remix of "September", the four Bordelais take the risk of entrusting their entire discography to the expert hands of a few volunteers. Among those who have dared to mix this poetic repertoire are Treponem Pal, Gus Gus, Yann Tiersen, Sloy or even Zend Avesta. The result, compiled in thirteen titles, sweeps without complex seventeen years of an exemplary career, from "A l'arrière des taxis" (1989) to "666.667 Club" (1996) passing by the exceptional "Tostaky" (1992). --Sabrina Silamo Product Description 1998 album from the punk influenced French alternative rock act. 13 tracks.
