Desperate to join their father, who works in southern Norway, they stow away on a helicopter heading in that direction. Unfortunately, the helicopter changes course and the three children find themselves, much to their dismay, lost on a deserted island. Left to fend for themselves, they must face the harsh elements of nature and remain on the lookout for imminent dangers threatening their lives.
