Details: Rod le Stod is one of those artists who quickly made his mark. In 2012, barely a year after releasing a first demo, he won the Festival international de la chanson de Granby (FICG) with all the influence that comes with this prestigious honor! Holder of a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's student in public administration, Rod started composing in 2010 by recording himself for the simple pleasure of a small studio at home. A few months later, he moved to the renowned Planet Studio, in order to benefit from professional conditions for the recording of a first self-produced demo. Since his triumph at the FICG, he has continued his artistic and professional progress with appearances at the Show du Refuge at Salle Wilfrid Pelletier at Place des Arts, at the Festival d'été de Québec, on the program Belle et Bum and much more. He also made a name for himself with a performance in France at the mythical Théâtre Bobino in Paris. With his off-the-beaten-path approach to hip hop, his elegant clothes, his clever lyrics and his great complicity with his sidekick Johnny Danger, the Montreal rapper does not go unnoticed! The next few months will be very busy for Rod le Stod who, in addition to busy recording his first album, will give several performances all over Quebec.
